Asheville Fall Festivals 2026: What to Do This October and November

Fall is when Asheville is at its best. The leaves turn, the evenings cool down, and nearly every weekend brings a festival, a maker market or an outdoor concert. At Reed Creek Greenway Apartments in Montford, about 1.2 miles from downtown, our residents are close enough to walk, bike or take a short drive to almost all of it.
This guide pulls together the October and November 2026 highlights from Explore Asheville's fall events roundup, the city's official tourism site, and adds a local's take on getting there.
